Getting started
This post is to help IB staff start blogging.
In the first instance, contact the communications department with your proposal and they will discuss it with you. It is a good idea to think about what you’ll be saying on the blog and the frequency with which you’ll be saying it. The most successful blogs are those which are contributed to on a regular basis.
Have a think, too, about who will have author-access and whether you would like readers to be able to comment on your posts.
Above all, think about the message and whether this is the right medium for it. Blogs are powerful communication tools, but they’re not always the most effective means for getting your message across.
Good luck and have fun.

Hi Lee
Did you know that the entries and comments links in the blog admin section are rss format and, presumably, not for reader access?

Hi Pat,
We’re working on a subscribe-by-email system as we speak.
Meanwhile, any member of staff can subscribe via RSS if they have an aggregator such as Google Reader (http://www.google.com/reader/) or Netvibes (http://www.netvibes.com/), using this link: http://blogs.ibo.org/feed/
Hope that helps.
