		<description>Thanks for your comment, Laura. My sense is we need to teach/encourage appropriate use of technology just as much as we need to teach students how to behave in a science lab. The difference being that students don't tend to have bunsen burners or containers of sulphuric acid at home. The challenge for teachers is, "Yes guys, I know you know how to use a mobile phone. However, there are both appropriate and inappropriate ways of using it.  Let's talk about them."</description>

		<description>I am fully supportive of technology in the classroom...bring it on! However, at my school there have been several situations in which students' use of technology compromised their integrity. I think it needs to be encouraged, but monitored.</description>
