The IB is committed to providing current, accessible, and accurate information to schools. To support this aim, key documents are being unified to align across the IB programmes and others that duplicate information are being phased out. The PYP Coordinator’s handbook will cease publication and will no longer be available on the OCC as of 1 August 2014.
The IB provides educators a full list of links to key documents that cover the content of the PYP Coordinator’s handbook. The list is available as an interim document on the Online Curriculum Centre.

Cambios en el Manual para coordinadores
El IB se compromete a proporcionar información actual, accesible y precisa a los colegios. Con este fin, se están unificando los documentos clave para alinear todos los programas del IB y se están eliminando progresivamente aquellos que poseen información duplicada. El Manual para coordinadores del PEP dejará de publicarse y ya no estará disponible en el CPEL a partir del 1 de agosto de 2014.
El IB proporciona a los educadores una lista completa de enlaces a los documentos clave que cubren el contenido del Manual para coordinadores del PEP. La lista está disponible en un documento provisional en el Centro pedagógico en línea.

Changements concernant le Manuel du coordonnateur
L’IB s’engage à fournir aux établissements scolaires des informations actualisées, accessibles et exactes. Pour ce faire, les documents essentiels sont actuellement unifiés afin d’aligner les programmes de l’IB, et les doublons sont progressivement retirés. La publication du Manuel du coordonnateur du PP va par conséquent cesser, et le manuel ne sera plus disponible sur le CPEL à compter du 1er août 2014.
L’IB fournit aux professionnels de l’éducation une liste complète de liens menant aux documents essentiels qui couvrent le contenu du Manuel du coordonnateur du PP. Cette liste se trouve dans le document de transition mis à disposition sur le Centre pédagogique en ligne.

I found the PYP Coordinator’s Handbook very helpful as a new coordinator because it put some of the very important information all in one place for me. For me I found that it served as a table of contents or a summary and aided me to find the further publications explaining PYP further. The updates included in this publication year after year, indicated by the lines on the side, were also very helpful when I updated my teachers on the ongoing improvement and research from the IB. What will replace this publication? What will be a coordinators guide? There are so many IB publications it is hard to know where to begin to look.
