Randolph College may award IB students entrance to the Presidential Scholars Program. The Presidential Scholarship as a part of the program awards as much as the cost of full tuition to students who are selected. Criterion for consideration include a 3.7 GPA (on a 4.0 scale), strong college preparatory coursework (IB), top 20% of class, 1400+ SAT or 30+ ACT scores, and demonstrated leadership in school and community. Student who have achieved minimum scores of 5 or greater on IB higher level courses may also be considered for advanced standing in course placement and credit towards graduation.
In addition to the scholarship component, the Presidential Scholars Program offers a wide variety of benefits including interactions with speakers and guests, access to career networking opportunities, and gatherings with the university president.
