The power of following student’s interests and questions to inquire and develop research skills.
Primary Years Programme (PYP) students use of integration of both ICT skills and dancing skills to inquire, respond, create and reflect through a dynamic process and how this opened new dimensions for creative thinking.
To celebrate 25 years of the PYP we spotlight some of the IB staff who work on the programme. We sat down with Sue, Christine, Alicia, Lukas and Monita to learn more about their experiences, highlights and what they are most excited about.
A blog by Nikki Welsh, PYP Curriculum development manager at the IB
This blog explores the use of hand signs and how they can assist students and teachers in remembering the PYP terminology, unpack an inquiry, emphasize a conceptual lens, prompt a question, form a rap, and be a reflection tool.
