Hello everyone, and welcome to the University Admissions blog! I’m Maya Grodman, and I will post new content each week to share information and spark discussion with all of you. I work as the University Relations Administrator at the International Baccalaureate, in our Americas Global Centre in Bethesda, MD, USA. I am also an IB graduate, having completed the Diploma Programme at Collège du Léman International School in Geneva, Switzerland.
This blog will feature a wide variety of subjects and people, with all of them ultimately being related to the IB and university admissions. Some posts will be spotlights on individual people, and some will cover current issues and topics.
To get the blog started, I have done a spotlight on a few of the IB staff members in the Americas office who are also IB graduates. Five of us have answered questions about our experience doing the IB, and how it affected us in university and beyond. Our answers can be found in the following five posts. There are many more IB graduates in the office as well, so there’s clearly something about the IB that keeps us coming back for more!
