What a fun day!! I have spent more time on twitter than with all my previous twitter posts combined (@vivas_marisol). Why? Today was #collegesigningday – as part of (@flotus) (@whitehouse) First Lady Michelle Obama’s #reachhigher initiative seniors from all over the US have been tweeting their college choices. It’s great to watch young people from so many different backgrounds and schools share their excitement, their hopes for the future, and their passion for their new homes.
As we approached this day, @IBOrganization decided to join this wonderful way to celebrate our students. Of course, keeping in mind that we are an international organization we asked counselors and coordinators from all over the world to send us some student videos and messages. We were hoping for four or five videos. We received 27!! They told where they are going and how IB helped them achieve their goals. For future IB seniors there was great advice on why to keep at it and on how it can help them in their applications and later in college.
Of course, now you want to see them!! They are all here at @IBAlumniNetwork!! Give them a view, a like and, of course a retweet!!
If you are not on twitter, we are posting them all to our IB Counselors Coordinators and University Relations Facebook Group https://www.facebook.com/groups/394389660696751/
