Repost: Good News Letter Archive

Rachelle Bernadel is the IB’s University Relations Administrator at the IB Global Centre in Bethesda, MD, USA. She is also an IB graduate of Parkdale High School in Riverdale, Maryland.

The Good News Letter is a resource created by the University Relations team at the International Baccalaureate. It is sent out every other month to IB counselors, coordinators, and university admissions officers around the world. The September edition will be going out soon so if you would like to receive it, and other recognition updates please sign up here.

The Good News Letter highlights universities that we feel have a particularly strong and/or exciting IB recognition policy, offer credit for SL courses, and/or offer scholarships specific to IB students. Each edition, we feature seven or eight universities or scholarship programs, and include some of the past features as well.

This blog post will serve as an archive of the Good News Letter. Below are links to all past Good News Letters, and a list of all of the features since the first edition in December 2012. As new editions come out, we will add them to the list below. We hope that this can serve as a helpful tool for counselors and coordinators, so you can communicate this information to students, but also for university representatives – perhaps your university can be featured in a future edition!

Also feel free to email us with suggestions of universities to feature in future editions – we’re always looking for more good news!
