Upcoming Webinars: Learning more about the IB Programmes

Here in Regional Development, we work to not only support universities and counselors with IB recognition issues, but “development” is truly like “two sides of the same coin.” As interested schools consider bringing on an IB programme, the question inevitably arises, “what will be the outcomes of IB graduates?” “what is the return on investment?” “how will they do in college?” The answers will certainly play a role in their choice to make the commitment to become and IB World School. The University Relations team works in tandem with the development team to nurture interested schools to ensure that they have all the resources needed to make an informed decision.

One of the more nuanced ways that the organization is using to support interested schools in their journey to the IB is through free programme specific trainings, available BEFORE a school is even a candidate. This allows them to be equipped with programme knowledge ahead of completing an application. It provides insight into the IB philosophy and will serve as a foundation that they can share with their school and parent community.

The purpose of this blog post is to encourage existing schools who want to learn about other programmes or for interested schools to learn about the IB all together in an interactive webinar environment. The webinars will be hosted by experienced practitioners in each of the programme threads with examples of the IB in action. We hope that you will share this information with your own school colleagues and others you believe may be a good fit for bringing on the IB.
