As the summer comes to an end, everybody is taking advantage of back to school sales, reading back to school blogs, and chuckling at back to school memes on Facebook. But for leaders in university admissions, back to school often means organizing staff training sessions, and putting newly trained admissions officers on the road. Around this time every year, I receive emails from colleagues who want us to come on campus for an hour of IB 101. Sometimes we do these sessions in person, often we will arrange a video conference for the team. I am pleased to say that word of our IB 101 sessions has gotten out and we have received so many requests that we are quite busy this time of year.
Last summer, the IB Marketing and Communications team came up with a great way to reach more colleagues at once. They helped create an IB 101 webinar for university admissions staff. The live webinar addresses most of your staff training needs. Additionally, we will share the benefits of recruiting IB students to your institution.
